I came here really quickly while driving through Bar Harbor to get some 4-packs of beer to drink during my wife's an my 15th-wedding-anniversary trip to Acadia. The beer was great, the parking situation was a disaster. We tried to park nearby and pretty much failed, but found a 15-minute loading zone in front of the police station where we were able to dash over here and buy some four-packs before dashing back to the car. The server could have been a bit more attentive given he knew were racing in and out, but it also all worked out. The hazy IPAs, stouts and sours were all great and gave us yummy beer to drink in the evenings and I brought some back in my suitcase to serve at the beer sharing event on Fridays at work where it also got rave review.s

Blaze was very good. So good we went twice. We enjoyed there pizzas and the staff was friendly. Despite being busy night they sat us quickly and served food quickly as well. i really enjoyed the chowder to start. It was perfect for a cool fall night. I would recommend Blaze. Good choice for a casual dinner or lunch.

Our bartender was Josh. Dude was great. Got a order in fast. Service some great beers. I love my buddy to drink from the cans in the refrigerator. We love the dark beers on tap and available by Ken. He gave us some awesome recommendations for Seafood retail establishments. Very nice vibe to the place. Would repeat.

Warning: although the chicken sandwich is good, eating it is not an enjoyable experience. It is dripping with hot sauce. Both indoor and covered outdoor seating available. Our service wasn't great but just seemed to be our particular waiter.

My husband and I always go out of our way to stop at Blaze when we are in Bar Harbor. This visit today was no exception to what we love about the place. Their bar is in a great location. You can just approach from the side street, which is super convenient. Bartenders are always quick and friendly. Transparently, we always go for drinks and oyster shooters. The food looks good, but we've never done anything but grab a drink. Their bloody oyster shooter is my favorite, and it is always super delicious. The Bloody Mary mix they use is wonderful. I particularly enjoyed the Blazing Love sour beer, which is blueberry flavored and just fantastic. My husband enjoys their Runabout Red Ale and said he would get it again. A very solid spot that never fails. One of these times, we'll get to try the food but as a great place for a drink it never fails!

Atmosphere - Just OK. To be honest, I would ding the restaurant for this category if the food and service was not so great. We sat outside on a very narrow patio that runs along side of the building. The tables were crammed in so much that it made the dining experience less than enjoyable. Service - Excellent. I can't say enough good things about him. He was friendly and very attentive. Food - Excellent. I ordered a cup of the lobster bisque and the fish n chips. The soup was absolutely delicious. The broth tasted amazing and there was so many pieces of lobster that if there were any more it would have been considered stew. The fish was a lightly breaded haddock that was deep fried but not greasy. The piece was huge. I had told myself that I was not going to be able to eat the entire piece, but it was so delicious I nearly finished it off. The beer selection is huge. I had a hazy IPA that was very good. Overall Value- Excellent. This is a tourist town and so prices are high. However, given the large portion, quality food and great service. I would definitely recommend this restaurant

We were lucky to get a nice seat outside and enjoyed looking through the beer menu. There are so many choices I had trouble deciding. In the end, I chose an amber ale and it was very good. Our server was great and provided input and suggestions. The menu has a variety of appetizers, salads, sandwiches and entrees. I settled on the 1.5 lb. grilled lobster, which came with fingerling potatoes and broccoli. The food came timely and was nice and hot. The lobster was cooked perfectly and since they split the body for me, I only had to deal with the claws. Overall everything was perfect.

Dined at five or six places in Bar Harbor. This was a great experience. Initially service was a bit slow but we arrived at peak dinner hour. No big deal. Our waitress was Jandee. She was wonderful. The lobster roll was the best I've had. The burger was phenomenal. Blueberry cheesecake to finish. Bathroom was clean. Drinks were great. Thanks!
